Andrew Ford

Andrew is the Enterprise Marketing Manager for IBM in Australia and New Zealand.  This role is is to develop strategic marketing plans for the Enterprise products in the IBM portfolio for high level executives in major companies in A/NZ.

Previously Andrew was the Marketing Manager for Sensis Digital Marketing Services where he was responsible for the development and execution of marketing activity for the ten digital brands including Whereis maps, 1234 Voice services, Sensis Digital Media, SiteSmart website creation, ClickManager SEM solutions amongst others. 

Prior to his role at Sensis, Andrew worked with Hewlett Packard for more than eight years on a variety of sales, channel management and marketing roles specializing in Loyalty Marketing for their Global software division. 

Andrew has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from RMIT in Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Management from Australian Graduate School of Management and a Masters of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University Melbourne.  

Andrew lectures in branding and e-marketing in the Masters of Marketing program at Swinburne University and is involved in several start up businesses.

 

Peter Christo

Peter is the founder of a number of current start-ups including Melbournecoffeereview.com and Pitchclub.com. Peter is a public speaker on Entrepreneurship, he has presented to eminent organisations including APEC on online business and entrepreneurship. Peter also contributes his time as an adjunct lecturer at RMIT’s Business School teaching Entrepreneurship to undergraduate students. 

Peter holds a Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Economics & Marketing. He has been a serial entrepreneur since his 20’s and started over 6 businesses. Peter worked in San Francisco USA during the dot com boom), Christo Consulting (IT Business in 1999) X2O Pty Ltd (IT Contracting) and consults to industry on innovation and entrepreneurship under ‘Christo Partners’.

Peter is married to Helen and dad to Xenia and Vance, their two young children. Peter has travelled extensively through Asia both on business and as a tourist/traveller.

 

Adam Griffifh

Adam loves websites. He designed and built his first website when he was 16. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce degree with first class honours in Actuarial Science and Finance at the University of Melbourne.

He has extensive business and financial experience having worked with ANZ Bank, CPW Chartered Accountants, Watson Wyatt as well as researching the Rich 200 list for BRW Magazine.

Adam joined Get Started in 2002. After a couple of years in project management and account management, he took on the role as Managing Director to help Get Started become the leading provider of web design and development services in Melbourne and Australia.

 

Marty Drill

Marty still finds it rather funny that he studied a HR degree at university and ended up starting a web design company. Back in 1999, after spending 2 years working as a HR consultant for Southern Health, Marty joined the other founding Directors to choose a business plan (from a selection) for a web design and development business.

Soon after beginning Get Started, Marty's entrepreneurial streak came out when his enthusiasm for ecommerce led him to purchase a share in an online fruit and veg company called EatFresh.

Since 1999, Marty has project managed the design and development of over 500 websites and played a major role in the shaping of this business. As CEO, Marty is our visionary and inspirational leader. He likes to talk… a lot. Fortunately, people like to talk to him too as he seems to be on the phone all day!

 

Dr. Kenneth J Preiss

Dr Preiss is a graduate of The University of Melbourne researching innovation creation-commercialization. He is chairman of several companies and an academic and former Director HR
Consulting at Coopers & Lybrand W.D.Scott.

Kenneth has consulted to corporations like Siemens (Singapore); Boeing Corp (Melbourne); Ausdrill (Chile); Abu Dhabi Oil Company (United Arab Emirates) and for the Indonesian–Australia Specialized
Training Project - Intellectual Rights.

He was ranked 18th in the world for intellectual capital in Knowledge Management. Kenneth is an award-winning research author and recipient of the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division Award in recognition of outstanding service to the Academy.
